Insulators Local 84 was chartered in 1927, and throughout its history, has seen a steady growth in membership, including through amalgamation with an Insulator Local in Youngstown, which occurred in 2000. To this day, Local 84 thrives as one of the successful Insulator Locals in Ohio, serving the central and east regions of the state.
