Applications for our apprenticeship is once a year.
Schedule is as follows for 2023.
Monday April 17th (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
Tuesday April 18th – Friday April 21st (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
Monday April 24th (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
Tuesday April 25th – Friday April 28th (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
All Applicants must fully meet the following requirement to qualify:– Complete and application form.– At least 17 years of age at time of application.– Be a minimum of 18 years of age.– Provide an official transcript for high school and post high school education and training. All GED records must be submitted if applicable.
Official Transcripts must be mailed (U.S.P.S.) directly to our office (See address above) from your High School (and College, if applicable)– In lieu of H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. – Two-year associate degree or higher.– Successful completion of ONE of the following, with not less than a “C” average per semester:
1. One year of High School Algebra
2. OR Two semesters of College Level Algebra
3. OR Two semesters of College Level Tech Math
4. OR evidence of having successfully completed the N.J.A.T.C. math course.-Obtain a qualifying score using the electrical industry’s aptitude test developed and validated by the American Institutes for Research– Possess a valid Driver’s License– Copy of Veteran’s DD-214 (If applicable)– At time of application, there is an **application fee of $25 (Cash or Check only)**All information must be received in our office within 14 days from date of application.
Applicants who meet all basic requirements will be interviewed by the J.A.T.C
Apprentices will be selected in order of their final ranking.The recruitment, selection, employment, and training of apprentices during their apprenticeship, shall be without discrimination because of race, color, religion, ****, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, status as a parent, national origin, family medical history or genetic information. The applicant must meet the minimum age requirement.
