Sound & Communication (CTECH) Training Program
You may apply in person Monday thru Friday from 8am to 4pm at the IBEW local 494 office located at 3303 South 103rd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53227.
The TECH Trainee position is an “available for work” program. There is no guarantee that you will get called out to work. Completing this application puts you in a pool of available workers.
Contractors within the Union can call our office to see if we have anyone available to go out to work for them. At that point we go through the pool of applicants to see who would be available to start with the requesting contractor. Contractors are also able to hire direct, so you are encouraged to call contractors directly to apply.
For more information regarding the program or applications, please contact the IBEW local 494 office at (414) 327-5202, or visit our website at www.ibew494.com
