•Gain knowledge of all types of electrical conduit so as to measure, cut, bend, tread, assemble and install.
•Build Familiarity with 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems.
•Splice wires and/or terminate wires to lighting, power and control equipment.
•Connect power cables to equipment.
•Implement a working knowledge of the NEC.
•Install electrical equipment, components, and devices.
•Apply energy management.
•Adhere to safety requirements.
•Commitment to the Electrical Apprenticeship Program for 4 years and an additional 2-year commitment to working at Trachte upon completion of the program.
•Attending Blackhawk Technical College for paid related instruction as part of the Electrical Apprenticeship program.
•Applicants must pass a math and reading test for college readiness (passing ACT scores will be accepted)
•Applicants will also be subject to a color-blind test.
