PRE-APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
Our Illinois Works funded pre-apprenticeship program is a 8 week, FREE training to prepare adults for building trades apprenticeships, including unions.
Pre-Apprentices Receive:
•
Basic Construction Safety, NCCER Core Credential, OSHA 10 Construction, and CPR/First Aid
•
Stipend, Transportation Assistance, Work Clothes, Tools and PPE
•
Supportive Services, including apprentice application support and job placement assistance.
Graduates apply to apprenticeship programs in a variety of trades, including plumbing, electricians, bricklayers, painters, sheet-metal workers, and more!

Who can join?
This program is for people interested in training for a career in the building trades. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED; a minimum 6th grade reading and math level, and be interested in moving into a building trades apprenticeship program or related employment.
