The Concrete Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at a construction project site. He or she may operate hand and power tools of all types and a variety of other equipment. Another aspect of this job is to clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris.

•Run and maintain various construction equipment, including but not limited to: pumps, compressors, generators, and various other construction equipment
•Load and unload trucks. Deliver materials to the site storage area or other designated area
•Keep building or assigned areas clean and organized to maintain safe and productive work.
•Assist in erection and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures.
•Assist in setting up forms in which concrete is poured as directed.
•Assist in installing rebar or wire mesh to reinforced concrete as directed.

•High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Preferred
•1 Year as a Labor/Helper in the carpentry or construction field preferred
•Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
