Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipefitters for projects located in and around San Diego, CA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $36/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
•Welding on Naval Vessels in New Construction
•Install and Maintain Ships Piping Systems(Steam, Heat and Power, Hot Water, Hydraulic, Air Pressure, etc.)
•Cut, Bend, Weld, Braze, Grind, and/or Burn Pipes to Fit and Connect for Shipboard Installation
•Test Installed Systems for Leaks and to Ensure that System Meets Specifications
Requirements:
•Minimum of 5 Years of Marine Pipefitting; 2 Years of Shipyard Brazing and Testing Experience
•US, Naturalized Citizen or Permanent Resident
•Able to Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
•OSHA 10, Maritime, Firewatch, and Respirator Fit Certifications; TI does offer OSHA Course to those who have yet to obtain the Certification
•Able to Read and Follow Blueprints, Layouts and Work Orders
•Comfortable Working in Confined Spaces and Wearing a Respirator
•Knowledge of Marine Piping Systems, Silver-Brazing Procedures to Military Specifications
