Eaton’s IS AER FED is currently seeking a Quality Inspector. This position is based at our Bethel, CT facility.
Eaton is a premier manufacturer in the aerospace business supporting commercial, military and space applications.
Core hours: 7AM-3:30PM
The starting hourly rate for this position is $18.00-$22.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
•Perform dimensional inspection of machined parts
•Receive incoming materials (raw & repairs)
•Maintain quality records
•Interpret customer and supplier requirements (internal & external)
•Certify Quality Control paperwork
•Read and interpret blueprints of machined parts or electronic parts
•Use small hand tools such as calipers, micrometers & drop indicators
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required
•Minimum 1 year work experience in a quality functional role in a manufacturing environment and/or 1 year experience utilizing dimensional tolerancing.
•Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
•This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
•No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 60-mile radius of Bethel, CT will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
