TITLE: Solar Carpenter STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Senior Carpenter, Superintendent, Field Operations Manager DATE: Rev. 7/2021
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for the construction and repair of wood and wallboard fixtures in compliance with local building codes and general construction principals.
The base compensation range for this role is $33.07 - $42.52 per hour.

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
A. Set up trailers
B. Study blueprints, sketches or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard. Measures the dimensions of structure of fixture to be fabricated
C. Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and/or conex’s, silt fences and/or straw bales, setup site per erosion control plan
D. Hand-set forms and/or assemble the gang forms
E. Assist journeyman and foreman with the shooting of grades and elevations
F. Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect of all pre-fabricated materials
G. Concrete and rough carpentry

6.Finish Carpentry, doors, frames, and hardware
H. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
I. All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A. High school diploma or GED preferred
B. Minimum of two years of experience as a carpenter
C. Trade or technical school certification/diploma is a plus
