JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for traveling to customers sites within their assigned territory (truck end users) to perform in service operations and maintenance training to ensure customers know how to operate our equipment in a proper and safe manner. This role will also be responsible for preforming diagnostics and repairs at customer sites throughout the US and in some cases internationally for all products produced within their realm of expertise to ensure our products are repaired in a proper and timely manner to reduce any future issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
•Monitor customer product readiness within the assigned territory to support diagnostics and repairs that the customer is unable to perform or resolve.
•Provide product orientation classes at customer locations for various products.
•Onsite at customer locations, diagnose and repair all issues related to equipment.
•Assist dealer service technicians with diagnosing and repairing, either on-site, on the phone, or via email.
•Follow up on repairs made to customer equipment, to ensure customer is satisfied.
•Troubleshoot customer concerns and develop best resolution.
•Lead and mentor other Field Service Technicians as required.
•Provide troubleshooting and maintenance training to dealer and customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•High School Diploma or its equivalent,
•Three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Associates Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related field.
•Strong written and oral communication skills.
•Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
•Experience in automotive, heavy trucks, or marine repair.
•Ability to obtain a Passport.
