•Belt adjusting or replacement
•Cleaning of cooling towers, coils, evaporator, and condenser tubes
•Truck driving including pick up, lay out, and delivering required materials or equipment for installation, service and repair work
•Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) work
•Clean and organize warehouse(s), assist with annual inventory
•Operate a variety of tools and machines required to perform HVAC service work
•Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
•Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards
•Maintain a neat professional appearance
•Complete all paperwork associated with operations and shift responsibilities
•Expect 100% local travel to customer sites
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Familiarity with HVAC equipment or a strong mechanical aptitude
•EPA Refrigeration certification a plus
•Self-starter with ability to work independently
•A natural ability to deliver excellent customer service
•May be required to perform the following physical activities with or without accommodation: climb ladders, lift boxes and equipment, lift and handle HVAC tools and equipment, and walk over large campuses
•Good general maintenance skills
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Good customer service skills, working professionally with management, tenants and coworkers
•Valid driver’s license (without restrictions), clean driving record
•Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including nights, weekends, or holidays
•Possess a sincere and strong desire to learn with a willingness to follow directions
•Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required
•Interest in joining the HVAC Apprenticeship Training Program for local union.
