Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring a skilled Apprentice Millwright for projects located in Lima, OH . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $26/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
•Assemble and install equipment using hand tools power tools and machinery align machines and equipment using hoists jacks hand tools squares rules micrometers and plumb bobs
•Position steel beams to support machines and equipment using blueprints and manuals to determine work procedures
•Move machinery and equipment using hoist dollies rollers and trucks signals crane operator to place assemblies and align units
•Assemble machines and bolt weld rivet or otherwise fasten them to foundations or other structures using proper tools and equipment replaces defective machine parts or adjusts clearances and alignment of moving parts
•Install / Repairing elevators conveyors catwalks drags metal roofs metal building tanks screws square bins transition hoppers spouts / turn-heads
•Custom fabrication of all kinds Installation of all kinds
Requirements
•Knowledge of construction trades High school diploma or GED equivalent and ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately with 1 year or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of construction skills
•Must be able to climb and stand for long periods of time
•Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
