About this Role
The MV Terminator for Power Engineering Services, LLC a Quanta Services Company will have experience performing Low-Voltage and Medium-Voltage terminations. LV terminations include Fiber, Ethernet, communication, and up to 600V cables. MV terminations include stress cones, dead-breaks, load-breaks, inline splices, three-way splices up to 69kv. Pfisterer termination experience is a plus. As a Master Electrician, you will be expected to assist with obtaining electrical licenses in our service areas. You will be expected to assist our estimating team with quoting termination jobs and be familiar with the requirements to perform this work. Experience with busway measurements (pre- and post-installation) is highly desired. The MV Terminator should be comfortable leading a team of MV terminators and provide QC checks to ensure the highest standard is being met on all jobs.
What You’ll Do
•Assist in obtaining Electrical Contractor’s license in various jurisdictions as we grow the service offering.
•Provide technical assistance to operations/estimating teams to ensure jobs are being bid and executed successfully.
•Be the subject-matter-expert for all scopes involving cable terminations and be the liaison between the project managers and the customer.
•Ensure junior level terminators are being trained and executing work correctly.
•Maintain indisputable results by ensuring a thorough quality check program is being followed and implemented.
•Champion safety by ensuring that all terminators are performing work according to industry standards and all safety requirements are being met.
•Provide consistent communication by being available via email and phone calls to support customers, internal employees, and potential customers as needed.
•Ensure correct materials are being ordered as needed for Power Engineering Services, LLC.
•Provide quality execution of work that exceeds your peers.
