Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for part-time instructors in the Electrical/Electronics Technology program. Part-time instructors are hired on an as-needed basis. Your application will be placed in a pool for review as part-time teaching assignments become available.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Part-time/adjunct faculty in Electrical/Electronics Technology are responsible for teaching the objectives of each Electrical/Electronics Technology course assigned, the assessment of student learning, and reporting of student progress as required by the college.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree program in an appropriate specialty, or an Associate of Applied Science degree with a minimum of 2000 hours of employment experience in the occupational specialty to be taught, or have completed a three to four-year formal apprenticeship program in the occupational specialty to be taught. Additionally, the applicant should have practical experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial electrical/electronic equipment.
STARTING SALARY
Salary varies based on educational level and number of courses taught.

WORK LOCATION
Electrical/Electronics Technology program courses are offered at the SWIC Belleville and Sam Wolf Granite City Campuses.
