Join our Team: Installation Electrician
Watertown, SD
Join our team at Terex Utilities and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Installation Electrician to contribute to the Terex team in Watertown, SD.

What you’ll do
•
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
•
Capable of working from drawings, sketches, templates, and schematics
•
Connect electrical switches with various wires, electrical cables, and connectors
•
Install and connect wiring for all lighting systems including strobe lights, boom lights, basket lighting, chassis lighting, trailer lighting, camera systems and any customer requested lighting systems
•
Ability to trouble shoot and fix electrical issues
•
Maintain work area in a clean, neat, and orderly manner
•
Install unit vehicle components and accessories
•
Basic computer usage
•
Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
•
Comply with Terex quality standards through error prevention and by meeting such requirements with zero defects.
•
Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
•
Function as a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining a positive attitude
•
Ability to work overtime as required
•
Perform other job functions as needed
What you’ll bring
•
High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
•
Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and 40-100 lbs. with assistance of others or lifting equipment provided
•
Physical ability to work under, on, and around truck chassis and truck bodies
•
1-3 years of electrical experience
•
Experience working with hydraulics/electrical/fabrication
•
Capable of operating a variety of hand and power tools
•
Possess ability to problem-solve
•
Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
•
Read wiring schematics or the willingness to learn how.
•
Work with small gauge, multi-colored wires and connecters.
•
Previous work experience in fields such as mechanical/construction/carpentry

The compensation range for this position is $22.00-$23.50 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
