Duties & Responsibilities:

* Machine parts from prints and models
* Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges using measuring instruments
* Set up and operate machining equipment such as lathes, EDM, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and saws
* Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify production tooling
* Effectively troubleshoot and repair production tooling
* Validate completed tools to ensure that parts meet specifications
* Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Must be willing to enroll in and complete a Journeyman Tool & Die program
* Formal training is a plus
* Ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches or computer-aided drafting (CAD) files
* Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
* Must be able to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds
