•Machine parts from prints and models
•Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges using measuring instruments
•Set up and operate machining equipment such as lathes, EDM, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and saws
•Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify production tooling
•Effectively troubleshoot and repair production tooling
•Validate completed tools to ensure that parts meet specifications
•Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Must be willing to enroll in and complete a Journeyman Tool & Die program
•Formal training is a plus
•Ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches or computer-aided drafting (CAD) files
•Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
•Must be able to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds
