2.Works under direct supervision in all weather conditions.
3.Must have valid driver’s license (may require CDL with Hazmat).
4.Assists in the operation and inspection of equipment to diagnose defects and repair all types of construction equipment.
5.Performs routine preventive maintenance on heavy construction equipment (i.e. lubrication, and replacement of brakes, belts, hoses, filters, fluids, and engine tune-up).
6.Dismantles and reassembles heavy construction equipment.
7.Examines parts for excessive damage or wear.
8.Tests overhauled equipment to ensure efficient operation.
9.Pushes and/or pulls tool boxes to position them while working on equipment.
10.Maintains appropriate company records to document equipment maintenance, service and repair using electronic mobile devices (i.e. work orders completed using iPad).
11.Assists in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
12.Performs maintenance or cleaning activities on tools and equipment.
13.Assists fuel/lube truck mechanics on field assignments.
14.Adheres to all safety procedures.
15.Typically requires 6 months of industrial construction experience.
