•Reviews all work notifications to determine the level of job plan required.
•Prepares upcoming weeks maintenance schedule based on work order priority, production schedule, and machine availability.
•Work with Senior Maintenance Technicians to schedules all workload for maintenance team members.
•Safety Guidelines in accordance with Safe Practices and Job Safety Analysis.
•Supports plant safety teams: confined space, working from height, hot work, electrical safety, lock out tag out, etc.…
•Organizes any special tools and equipment.
•Coordinates with outside contractors based on requirements.
•Prepares requisitions for on-site contractor support and ensures policy adherence during on-site activities.
•Review drawings, prints, and sketches
•Verifies availability of parts and materials
•Manage workorder kit process.
•Work with receiving coordinator to issues/stages materials for routine maintenance tasks.
•Manages and reports the work order backlog.
•Run KPI or other required reports to support the Maintenance Department.
•Work with maintenance Leads to close-out work order documentation.
•Maintains controlled documents assigned to the Maintenance Department.
•Engage and support plant 5S and TPM initiatives; focused primarily on PM Pillar activities.
•Work with maintenance leads to create, update, and maintain BOM structure within SAP.
•Maintain total SAP structure based on OC MRG requirements.
•Prepare, review, create and revise documentation for all PM tasks.
•Assist the controller with the performance of routine cycle counts.
•Review min/max levels with maintenance leads and adjust if necessary, according to history and direction of the Maintenance Manager
•Provide electrical, controls and automation support to automation projects, plant process, packaging and utility operations
•Support plant maintenance and operations teams in system and equipment troubleshooting and in technology transfer
•Assist corporate engineering and plant engineering with automation projects
•Provide technical support to all operating and maintenance departments to help trouble shoot and diagnose issues related to PLC and HMI programs.
•Enhance maintenance processes through equipment and systems analysis to identify opportunities for equipment or process modification, equipment replacement, or application of new technology
•Develop, implement and monitor automation and control strategies and system architecture for the facility.
•Works with other members of the control systems design department and other groups to continuously improve methods of integrating controls technology, with the goals being enhanced safety, enhanced functionality and improved efficiency.
•Designs low voltage (typically 480VAC and lower) power and control systems for automated manufacturing applications including control system panels, motor controls center specifications, safety systems, and automation network design
•Selection and specification of machine components such as motors, pneumatics, conveyors, sensors etc.
•Develops P&IDs, reviews equipment specifications and line layouts
•Create detailed documentation including but not limited to design input requirements, specifications, design of experiments, acceptance test and validation protocols, detailed drawings and bills of materials.
•Establishes sequence of operation & control system architecture
•Develops high-quality PLC and HMI programming aligned with the defined project requirements
•Design and develop automation simulations and emulations when project requires it
