The Role: Rough-In Lead - Gainesville, FL
Are you ready to step up and lead full HVAC installations from the ground up? If you’re a seasoned installer who knows systems, piping, ductwork, and start-ups-and thrives when you’re guiding a team-this is your moment.
As our Rough-In Lead, you’ll be hands-on in residential new construction projects, taking the lead on layout, equipment installation, copper and PVC piping, start-up, and everything in between. You’ll be the go-to expert on-site, setting the tone, keeping the job on track, and mentoring the crew around you.

What You’ll Do
•Lead residential HVAC rough-ins on new construction projects
•Install equipment, copper, PVC, duct systems, and perform system start-ups
•Coordinate deliveries, job site setup, and material management
•Communicate effectively with builders, superintendents, and internal project managers
•Oversee and mentor junior installers, leading with skill and integrity
•Ensure installs meet all code requirements, manufacturer specs, and company standards
•Troubleshoot systems as needed and solve problems on the fly
•Maintain clean job sites, organized truck stock, and proper documentation
•Represent the Comfort Temp brand with professionalism and pride
What You Bring
•5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
•Strong experience with ductwork, copper, PVC, equipment layout, and system start-ups
•Proven ability to lead or supervise crews on new construction sites
•Comfortable reading blueprints, job specs, and wiring diagrams
•Strong communication skills and a high level of accountability
•Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working with hand/power tools
•Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
•High school diploma or equivalent required
