1.Receives written or oral instructions from supervisor regarding material to move or excavate.
2.Demonstrates safe operation of all equipment.
3.Reads and understands the results and purpose of all gauges on equipment.
4.Properly maintains and services or has equipment services daily.
5.Observes markings on ground, hand signals to remove material when operating the machine.
6.Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
7.Reads and understands owner’s manual and able to fill out machine inspection.
8.Must be punctual and maintain a dependable level of attendance in accordance to project work rules.
9.Previous experience driving concrete, sheet and/or pipe piles.
10.Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movements according to verbal, hand signal and written instructions.
11.Inspect crane and piling equipment daily and determine if any parts are defective or malfunctioning.
12.Cleans, maintains and lubricates equipment.
13.Lift and place machinery, equipment and other objects at the construction site.
14.Work within limits and standards of accuracy.
15.Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as other equipment, personnel, and utilities (where applicable).
16.Operate crane according to signals received from qualified signal person.
17.Maintain current certifications.
18.Have or obtain knowledge of controlling pile hoisting speed during hammer operation.
19.Safely operate crane during assembly of crane and piling equipment.
