Overview
F.H. Furr, a renowned leader in residential services, is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals with a knack for mechanics and a passion for helping people. As an HVAC Service Apprentice, you will embark on a journey to learn the ins and outs of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. No prior experience is required, but a strong mechanical inclination and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service are a must.
This is a fully-paid HVAC Apprentice program on April 22nd, 2024 is a combination of classroom training as well as on-the-job (ride-along) training. Classroom training will be held at the Furr Academy, located at our headquarters in Manassas, VA. This program has limited capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
•Learn and Assist: Work alongside experienced technicians to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential settings.
•Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, actively listening to their needs and offering appropriate solutions.
•Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for additional services or products that can benefit customers.
•Problem Solving: Apply creative thinking to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
•Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications:
•Mechanical Inclination: Strong interest and aptitude in mechanical systems and a willingness to learn about HVAC technology. Proficiently utilize a range of manual powered tools, necessitating precision.
•Customer-Focused: A genuine passion for helping people and a dedication to providing exceptional service.
•Sales Enthusiast: Enjoy engaging with customers and identifying opportunities to enhance their HVAC experience.
•Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

•Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required for this role; a company vehicle will be provided at the conclusion of training.
