Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics and Helpers for a commercial construction project in Elon, NC, starting October 27th. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable tradespeople looking for steady work, great pay, and consistent overtime on Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
•Fabricate, assemble, and install HVAC ductwork and fittings on commercial job sites.
•Measure, cut, and layout materials according to blueprints and specifications.
•Assist with the installation of hangers, supports, and insulation.
•Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
•Work closely with project leads to maintain productivity and quality standards.
•Follow all job site safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
For Mechanics:
•Minimum 4+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
•Proficient with installing square, round, and spiral duct.
•Must have own hand tools and reliable transportation.
For Helpers:
•6+ months of commercial construction or HVAC experience preferred.
•Willingness to learn and follow directions from lead mechanics.
•Must be dependable and safety-conscious.
