Job Description
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring HVAC Sheet Metal Helpers for a hospital project in Uvalde, TX. This position is ideal for individuals with 6 months to 2 years of experience who are eager to learn the trade and support experienced apprentices and mechanics on-site. Green helpers with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Work Scope Includes
•Assisting with layout and installation of sheet metal ductwork
•Helping with copper line preparation and installation
•Supporting mechanics with setting and connecting RTUs and floor units
•Carrying materials, organizing tools, and maintaining a clean workspace
•Following safety procedures and directions from experienced team members
•Learning trade fundamentals and mechanical layout practices
Tools Needed
•Basic hand tools and full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Requirements
•6 months to 2 years of HVAC or construction experience preferred
•Willingness to learn and assist apprentices and mechanics
•Must bring basic tools and PPE
•Dependable, hardworking, and eager to develop new skills
•Reliable transportation required
