Job Description
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Journeyman Plumbers for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Ooltewah, TN. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and fully capable of reading prints, running and organizing a job, and working independently. This position offers long-term potential for the right individual.
Work Scope Includes:
•Reading and interpreting blueprints and plumbing layouts
•Running and organizing plumbing jobs with minimal supervision
•Installing water, waste, and vent piping systems (PVC, copper, cast iron, etc.)
•Performing underground, rough-in, and trim-out phases
•Testing systems for leaks and ensuring code compliance
•Managing materials and coordinating with other trades
•Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
•5+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience required
•Must be able to read prints, run and organize a job independently
•Must have own hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
•Must be drug-free and able to pass all required screenings
•Must be dependable, professional, and safety-focused
•Reliable transportation required
•Background check and drug test required before start
