Job Description:
The HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for installing, assembling, and servicing HVAC systems and ductwork within a critical facility environment.
•Must be able to be badged for a critical facility, which includes fingerprinting and a full background check (with no time limit on history review).
•Due to specific scheduling and strict entry procedures, employees must arrive on time every day.
This position requires professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail in a highly secure workspace.
HVAC Mechanic Requirements:
•Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
•Skilled in installing and assembling sheet metal ductwork
•Experience setting curbs, hanging duct, and installing HVAC units and equipment
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
•Must be able to pass fingerprinting and a full background check for facility clearance
•On-time attendance every day is mandatory due to security protocols
•Must provide own hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
•Must pass any required drug screenings
•Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
