Work Scope:
Commercial Journeyman HVAC Mechanics will be working on a commercial project in North Charleston, SC.
Job duties include hanging and installing ductwork, installing VAVs (Variable Air Volume units), and performing other HVAC-related installation tasks.
Candidates must come fully equipped with all tools and PPE and must possess a REAL ID driver’s license to access the jobsite. Mechanics should be able to work independently or with a crew, interpret mechanical drawings, and complete installations safely and efficiently.
HVAC Mechanic Requirements:
•Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
•Skilled in duct installation, VAV setup, and air distribution systems
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
•Must have own tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
•Must possess a REAL ID driver’s license
•Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
•Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
•Strong focus on safety, quality, and professionalism
