Job Summary
MOR PPM, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a full-time position located in Bennettsville, SC. Will perform daily PM’s, assist with Capital projects, run conduit, troubleshoot, terminate, etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Perform routine maintenance electrical work mill wide
•Read and understand wiring schematic
•Troubleshoot faulted circuits and equipment
•Run conduit of all types and sizes
•Terminate motors, panels, etc
•Follow daily instruction and work orders assigned
Qualifications
•Electrical license and/or NCCER training are a plus
•Ability to operate all sizes of man lifts (will be certified on site)
•CPR and ARC flash certification will be provided
•Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal and written communication and reasoning is required.
Experience:
•At least three-years experience as industrial maintenance electrician
•Combination of technical training and experience will be considered
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
•Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
•May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
•Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
•Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
•Must have full range of motion consistent with age
•Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
•Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
•Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
•Safety/Steel toe shoes are required. Fire resistant (FR’s may be required)
