Title: Maintenance
Description: We are looking for a person with hands-on mechanical skills. We will provide tools for the job, but the tools will be considered property of the school district.
This job requires you to maintain a reasonable amount of confidentiality, such as but not limited to, vehicle information, bus routes, personal information, student information and strategies.
Qualifications:
•Get and maintain a CDL class B license
•General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
•Ability to lift 60 pounds repetitively
•Computer skills including HVAC programming including schedules and operation
•Good problem-solving skills
•Self-starter with good communication skills
•Good attendance and work ethic
•Willingness to work as a team
•We will provide training
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Perform maintenance on all school owned buildings as needed
•Complete appropriate paperwork for work orders, maintenance records and any other documentation
•Light repair of buses and corporation vehicles
•Snow plowing and assisting with ice melt spreading
•Maintain shop equipment and tools
•Other duties as assigned by Director of Facilities and Bus Maintenance and/or the Superintendent
Requirements:
•Have at least a high school diploma or GED
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
•Complete and pass an Expanded Criminal Background and CPS Check
Compensation:
•Competitive pay depending upon experience
Contracted days: 12-month employee
Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Additional hours and overtime as needed

•Physical demands while performing the duties of this job - the employe will be required to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk and reach with both hands and arms.

•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus.
