Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Part-time Journeyman Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, DC. The Journeyman Electrician must have or be able to obtain a L secret level Clearance for this role. The schedule is: Wednesday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Performs all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintain
•Inspects, maintains, cleans, repairs, tests and adjusts a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.
•Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
•Supervise subcontractors.
Qualifications
•Must have a current Journeyman Electrician License (DC or MD)
•Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security Clearance
•Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician
•Must have a general knowledge of motors, switchgear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.
•Must be able to read and understand blueprints,
•Must have Troubleshooting skill
•Must be able to work the schedule of Wednesday - Friday 3pm - 11pm
