Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Part-time Journeyman Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, DC. The Journeyman Electrician must have or be able to obtain a L secret level Clearance for this role. The schedule is: Wednesday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•
Performs all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintain
•
Inspects, maintains, cleans, repairs, tests and adjusts a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.
•
Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
•
Perform inspections
•
Supervise subcontractors.
•
Troubleshoot
Qualifications
•
Must have a current Journeyman Electrician License (DC or MD)
•
Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security Clearance
•
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician
•
Must have a general knowledge of motors, switchgear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.
•
Must be able to read and understand blueprints,
•
Must have Troubleshooting skill
•
Must be able to work the schedule of Wednesday - Friday 3pm - 11pm
