•Carries out and follows all facility policies and procedures in regard to the operation of the maintenance department
•Conducts periodic inspections of the facilities, correcting all damages
•Services all mechanical equipment as instructed by the facilities/maintenance director
•Maintains outside yards, athletic fields, sidewalks, and parking lots including mowing, trimming, raking, salting, shoveling, and sanding
•Performs ongoing preventative maintenance programs and routine check on major systems and district owned buses
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations
•Ability to demonstrate general mechanical skills
•Possess general knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing repair, and carpentry skills
•Ability to efficiently plan and utilize time while working with minimal supervision
•Ability to exert 50 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
•Ability to stoop, climb, stand for prolonged periods of time and perform physical labor, physical mobility, and stamina to participate in activities which may be strenuous
•Ability to pass criminal background check
