•Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Ability to diagnose, trouble shoot and correctly repair production line equipment in timely manner.
•Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage (up to 480V) systems.
•Capable of reading blueprints, manuals, schematic drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
•Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment and powered and non-powered tools.
•Ability to diagnose, trouble shoot and correctly repair facilities and associated equipment in timely manner.
•Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment.
•Must be able to work in a team environment and take direction from Supervisor.
•Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
•Willingness to continually learn and participate in continued education when offered.
•Understanding and compliance to Lock Out Tag Out procedures and safe practices.
•Review and initiate continuous improvement projects.
•Self-starter, motivated, trustworthy and dependable.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Office environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, computers, telephones, desks, temperature controlled.
•Manufacturing environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, machine/equipment noise, some welding exhaust, metal working fluid mist, non-controlled temperatures, and PPE required.
•Ability to sit for short periods of time to complete required reports.
•Ability to move about the plant in both the office and manufacturing areas.
•Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
•Manual dexterity for computer work.
•Ability to stand for long periods of time.
•Ability to walk for long periods of time.
