Job description
•
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•
Ability to diagnose, trouble shoot and correctly repair production line equipment in timely manner.
•
Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage (up to 480V) systems.
•
Capable of reading blueprints, manuals, schematic drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
•
Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment and powered and non-powered tools.
•
Computer literacy.
•
Ability to diagnose, trouble shoot and correctly repair facilities and associated equipment in timely manner.
•
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment.
•
Must be able to work in a team environment and take direction from Supervisor.
•
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
•
Willingness to continually learn and participate in continued education when offered.
•
Understanding and compliance to Lock Out Tag Out procedures and safe practices.
•
Review and initiate continuous improvement projects.
•
Self-starter, motivated, trustworthy and dependable.
•
Other duties as assigned.
Education
•
G.E.D. or High School Diploma.
•
Technical School or Apprenticeship training is a plus but not required.
•
Documented On the Job training is a plus but not required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
•
Office environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, computers, telephones, desks, temperature controlled.
•
Manufacturing environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, machine/equipment noise, some welding exhaust, metal working fluid mist, non-controlled temperatures, and PPE required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•
Ability to sit for short periods of time to complete required reports.
•
Ability to move about the plant in both the office and manufacturing areas.
•
Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
•
Manual dexterity for computer work.
•
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
•
Ability to walk for long periods of time.
