Installation, maintenance, and repair of FTL plant wide electrical equipment, wiring, and apparatus including those systems or devices above 480 volts. Also, perform mechanical repair of FTL plant wide facilities and production equipment.
Major Job Duties and Procedures
Major repairs, adjustments, replacement, and modification of plant wide electrical apparatus, wiring, and equipment including primary power source over 480 volts. Trouble shooting, planning and design of electrical circuitry requiring a high degree of ingenuity and judgement to complete these tasks. Perform electrical construction dealing with the addition of new equipment or the relocation of existing equipment. Major repair of 3 phase and single phase motors (except rewinding), AC and DC control systems, protective devices, wiring devices, and light heat, and power sources. Make electronic repair or replacement required. The repair, replacement and programming of PLC’s. The repair, adjustment and modification of FTL plant wide buildings and equipment. The installation, maintenance, and repair of plant utilities such as gas, water, air and oil piping. Do maintenance and repair heating , ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Make repairs and adjustments on bearings, pumps, drive components, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The moving and relocating of equipment. Overhaul and make modifications to plant wide production equipment under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, leadman. Perform sheet metal fabrication.
