Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly-motivated and qualified individual who is interested in a career as a Carpenter Apprentice. We’re looking for an apprentice who has experience in a wide variety of carpentry projects, including framing, trim, cabinets, staircases and other woodworking. The successful candidate will work closely with the professional carpenter on their assigned projects and will be trained in various carpentry skills.
Responsibilities:
•Use hand tools and power tools to cut and shape wood, concrete, metal, and masonry.
•Measure and mark lines for cutting material to length.
•Use a hammer, saw, drill or other tool to remove old nails and fasteners.
•Learn to install and repair doors, windows, and other structural components.
•Install and maintain scaffolding, ladders, lifts, or other support systems that are used during construction.
•Cut and shape wood with a handsaw.
•Install cabinets, shelves and other wood framework.
•Build walls by nailing or screwing together framing materials such as studs or joists.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.50 - $35.00 per hour
