•Installs, maintains and repairs ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
•Identifies maintenance risks on equipment
•Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
•Cleans, adjusts and repairs systems, and performs warranty services
•Performs emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
•Provides technical direction and on-the-job training
•Keeps daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
•Ensures compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
•Complies with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements
•Assists with customers' queries
•Performs a variety of service work HVAC, including but not limited to: filter changing, oiling and greasing, belt adjusting or replacement, cleaning of cooling towers, coils, evaporator, and condenser tubes, service and repair work, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) work
•Operate a variety of tools and machines required to perform HVAC service work
•Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
•Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards
•Complete all paperwork associated with operations and shift responsibilities
•Completes other duties as assigned
•Must be 18 years of age or older
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Familiarity with HVAC equipment or a strong mechanical aptitude
•Self-starter with ability to work independently
•A natural ability to deliver excellent customer service
•The Tradesman may be required to perform the following physical activities with or without accommodation: climb ladders, lift boxes and equipment, lift and handle HVAC tools and equipment, and walk over large campuses
•Good general maintenance skills
•Good verbal and written communication skills
