Illinois Works’ free Pre-Apprenticeship Program will prepare you to transition into a Department of Labor registered apprenticeship in the trades.

The training covers positions in multiple trades, including:

* Electricians
* Sheet Metal Worker
* Plumbers & Steamfitters
* Laborers
* Bricklayers
* Glaziers
* Roofers
* Operators

**TARGET AUDIENCE**

All Illinois residents are welcome, with an emphasis on women, people of color, and veterans.

* Wrap-around Services
* Student Support Services
* Stipends
* Industry-recognized Certifications (NABTU, OSHA, First Aid/CPR)

**ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS**

* Minimum age of 18 years old
* Possess a high school diploma/GED/HiSET
* Illinois resident
